Mission Statement

At DuBois Lakeside Church, our Children's Ministry, Mother's Day Out, exists to partner with parents and caregivers by providing Christ-centered care, Christian education, and age-appropriate learning opportunities in a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment during our daily religious services of DuBois Lakeside Church.

We serve children ages 2 through Pre-K during the school year and ages 2 through 4th grade during the summer. Our weekday programming includes daily chapel for all students and staff, with an open invitation to families and caregivers throughout our community.

Rooted in our church's mission to Know. Love. Serve., we seek to help every child grow in faith and character while supporting families in their journey.

Our Ministry Story

Growing in Faith Since 1995

From eight children to a thriving ministry serving families throughout the DuBois community.

Mother's Day Out Ministry of DuBois Lakeside Church expands our weekly Sunday ministry throughout the week to help broaden each child's faith. At Lakeside, we desire for children and families to know God, love God and others, and serve the world so that each person can become who God created them to be.

The Mother's Day Out Ministry was founded in 1995 and started with only eight children in attendance. Over the thirty years that Mother's Day Out has been in ministry, we have grown and flourished in the community and now have more than 80 children attending our program throughout the year.

The Mother's Day Out staff have a combined experience of more than 60 years in ministry and teaching.

Year-Round Age Groups

We serve children ages 2 through Pre-K during the school year and children ages 2 through 4th grade during the summer.

Program Hours and Options

Flexible weekday options are available based on age and classroom availability.

Mother's Day Out Ministry Monday through Friday
9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Morning Faith Foundations Additional ministry hours
7:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Afternoon Faith Foundations Additional ministry hours
2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Families may select any number of attendance days per week. Pre-registration is required, and placement is based on the child's age and room availability. Our program follows the DuBois Area School District schedule for holidays, vacations and school closings.
