General Information

At Mother's Day Out Ministry, we provide a safe, nurturing environment that prepares your child for kindergarten. Through loving relationships and engaging activities, we help children grow socially, emotionally and academically, laying a strong foundation for their future. Programs by Age

Classes

Each classroom supports children's developmental needs through play, faith-based learning, social interaction and age-appropriate academics.

Two-year-old class at Mother's Day Out Ministry
Two-Year-Old Class

Play, Learn and Build Confidence

Limited availability is offered for children two years of age. Children must be two on or before July 1 of the current year. Please call for current availability.

This classroom provides a true play-and-learn experience. Limited academic curriculum is used, with the main focus placed on play, social development and emotional skill-building.

Learning Through Play and Exploration

Classes include six to eight children, depending on the ages of the children enrolled.

Children participate in free play, welcome and circle time, calendar and weather activities. Each child receives age-appropriate academics and participates in gym activities, Bible stories, music, art and crafts.

Curriculum Alignment: The curriculum content and supportive instructional practices used at Mother's Day Out Ministry align with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and those used in the DuBois Area School District.
Pre-K classes at Mother's Day Out Ministry
Pre-K Classes

Preparing Children for Their Next Step

Pre-K classes include a maximum of 10 children per classroom. Children participate in free play, welcome and circle time, calendar and weather activities.

Each child receives age-appropriate academics and participates in gym activities, Bible stories, music, art and crafts. Parent-teacher conferences are also held for Pre-K students.

2-Year Old Preschool Class

Limited availability for children two (2) years of age. Children must be two (2) on or before July 1 of the current year. Please call for availability. This class will be a true play and learn class. Limited academic curriculum will be used. The main focus will be play/social/emotional skills building. Minimum/Maximum of six (6) students. Please call for availability.

3-Year Old and 4-Year Old Preschool Classes

Six (6) to eight (8) children per class determined by ages of children. Children participate in free play, welcome and circle time, calendar and weather. Your child will receive age appropriate academics** for his/her age. Children will have a gym activity, Bible story, music and art/craft.

**The curriculum content and supportive instructional practices (Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards) in place at Mother's Day Out Preschool are in alignment with those used in the DuBois Area School District.

Pre-K Classes

Maximum of 10 children/class. Children participate in free play, welcome and circle time, calendar and weather. Your child will receive age appropriate academics** for his/her age. Children will have a gym activity, Bible story, music and art/craft.
